VIDEO: NORTHWESTERN MEDICINE UROLOGY RESIDENTS

Fourth-year residents at Northwestern Medicine Urology spend a year working with faculty at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine to design and implement a basic science or clinical research project of their choice. In these videos, current lab residents share their research experiences and an overview of what to expect during the lab year.
​Daniel Greenberg, MD, gives an overview of his lab year research project that is looking at fertility preservation of transgender women who are on gender-affirming hormonal therapy.
​Emily Ji, MD, provides a brief summary of her lab year in reconstructive urology and her experience in her research year.
​Mitali Kini, MD, discusses her research focus of bioregeneration of bladder tissue, the mentoring process and her experience as a resident.
​Kyle Tsai, MD, gives a detailed overview of what to expect during your lab year, the mentoring process and his research focus on holmium laser enucleation of the prostate for BPH.
