GERI-A-FLOAT: A SUSTAINABLE MODEL OF LEARNING & SUPPORT DURING A PANDEMIC

Geriatrics Fellows Learning Online And Together (Geri-a-FLOAT) is an innovative model of online learning to support learning, wellness, and networking among geriatric fellows. For Internal Medicine residents, she spearheaded the development of a teaching service on the Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Unit and created a flipped-classroom, competency-based curriculum known as “FACETS.” Dr. Duggan also developed two courses at the medical school—Geriatric Medicine Acting Internship and the Integrated Science Course: Healthy Aging & Quality Dying.
