Northwestern Medicine physicians and scientists, including Igor J. Koralnik, MD, chief of Neuro-infectious Disease and Global Neurology in the Department of Neurology, have been investigating the pathogenic mechanisms of post-COVID-19 conditions known as “long COVID.” They aim to inform clinical evaluation and management of patients at Northwestern Medicine Comprehensive COVID-19 Center.
