Grazia Aleppo, MD, is the medical director of Northwestern Medicine Diabetes Training and Education Program. In this case-based presentation, she will shed light on the value of technology to patients with Type 2 diabetes. Dr. Aleppo will be presenting Driving Technology and Type 2 Diabetes during the American Diabetes Association Annual Meeting taking place June 23 - 26, 2023. Dr. Aleppo’s clinical and research interest is in diabetes; particularly in the implementation of diabetes technology such as insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) therapy, and automated insulin delivery systems in clinical practice. She has participated in clinical trials on the use of CGM and automated insulin delivery systems in various populations. She is the Associate Editor of the Diabetes, Technology and Therapeutics journal and has authored book chapters as well as more than 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
