The Northwestern Medicine Center for Complex Gynecology offers uterine-sparing procedures like uterine fibroid embolization and myectomy, often together. In this video, the patient begins in Interventional Radiology with Dr. Chrisman, undergoing a uterine fibroid embolization. Only hours later, Dr. Milad performs a nearly bloodless re-embolization to treat the adenomyosis.
