PELVIC FASCIA-SPARING ROBOTIC-ASSISTED RADICAL PROSTATECTOMY

Watch Edward M. Schaeffer, MD, PhD, demonstrate a prostate-removal approach he used that spared the anterior pelvic fascia. The patient is a 67-year-old male who presented to Dr. Schaeffer with localized prostate cancer that would be terminal if left untreated. Due to this condition, the patient decided to proceed with a robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy.
