NEPHROLOGY

NORTHWESTERN MEDICINE NEPHROLOGY WELCOMES NEW FACULTY

Northwestern Medicine is pleased to welcome Pierre R. Blemur, Jr., MD and Amishi Desai, DO, to the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension.

 Dr. Blemur joins as an assistant professor of Nephrology and Hypertension. He graduated from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

 Dr. Desai is an associate professor of Nephrology and Hypertension. She completed general and transplant nephrology fellowships at the University of Chicago. Dr. Desai previously served as the medical director for Kidney/Pancreas Transplantation and Division Chief of Transplant Nephrology.
