Polsky Urologic Cancer Institute of Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern Medicine

Northwestern Medicine EDGe BRCA+ Men's Clinic
The EDGe (Early Detection in Genetics) BRCA+ Men’s Clinic provides screening and follow-up care for patients aged 40 and older with identified mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes. The clinic team will coordinate one to two visits per year for patients to screen for breast cancer, prostate cancer, skin cancer and pancreatic cancer. |
Northwestern Medicine Metabolic Stone Clinic
The Northwestern Medicine Metabolic Stone Clinic brings together an integrated team of expert specialists in a variety of fields to address the needs and improve the outcomes of new and recurrent patients with kidney stone disease, including patients who were diagnosed with stones during pregnancy. |
Northwestern Medicine Complex Urologic Infectious Diseases Clinic
The Northwestern Medicine Complex Urologic Infectious Diseases Clinic is the first of its kind in the United States to combine the expertise of urology and infectious disease specialists in one setting. The clinic provides comprehensive care for patients who have recurring, complex, difficult-to-diagnose or difficult-to-treat urologic infections. |
Northwestern Medicine Male Fertility Program
We use an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to evaluate and care for patients with infertility. This care team consists of urologists, reproductive endocrinologists, surgeons, lab technicians, fertility specialists, onco-fertility specialists and mental health specialists. |
Northwestern Medicine Gay and Bisexual Men's Urology Program
The first of its kind in the United States, the Northwestern Medicine Gay and Bisexual Men’s Urology Program is designed to deliver better urologic care for patients who were assigned male at birth and identify as gay or bisexual. |

The Northwestern Medicine Gender Pathways Program provides gender-affirming care to transgender and gender nonbinary patients using integrated, coordinated health services. Our urologists are trained and experienced in treating patients with spina bifida. This care team consists of experts in urology, nephrology, colon and rectal surgery, plastic surgery, gynecological surgery and behavioral health. We partner with patients to manage complications, such as maintaining kidney function, reducing cancer risk and conducting reconstructive surgeries. |
Northwestern Medicine VHL Clinic
Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) is a complex hereditary cancer syndrome that requires care across multiple disciplines, including urology due to the urologic cancer risk. The Northwestern Medicine Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) Clinic assembles a comprehensive team of specialists to detect tumors early and develop individualized patient treatment plans. It is one of two Clinical Care Centers in Illinois recognized by the Von Hippel-Lindau Syndrome Alliance. |
