2022 DR. JUNE MCKOY APPOINTED TO ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION Featuring: June McKoy, MD, MPH
Lurie Cancer Center has named new leadership roles within the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. Assistant Directors of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Drs. McKoy and Moreira will work closely with Associate Director, Sarki A. Abdulkadir, MD, PhD, to foster a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment throughout the Lurie Cancer Center. Dr. June McKoy is a full professor in the Departments of Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Medical Education. A recognized expert in geriatric oncology, her overarching research aim is to improve survivorship outcomes for older adults with cancer. She is an associate editor of the Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (JNCCN) and represents Lurie Cancer Center on the Older Adult Oncology Guidelines Panel of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) This article was originally published in the Robert H.
