Alpesh A. Patel, MD, MBA, FACS, has been elected president of the Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS) during the 51st Annual Meeting and 28th Instructional Course, November 29-December 2, 2023.
Founded in 1973, the CSRS is a multidisciplinary organization of individuals interested in clinical and research problems of the cervical spine. Its purpose is to provide a forum for the exchange and development of ideas and philosophy regarding the diagnosis and treatment of cervical spine injury and disease. The organization values collegial interaction and strong scientific principles. Patel’s research focuses on my clinical research on patient outcomes, quality and value in healthcare, and predictive analytics. Dedicated to creating value through strategy and innovation in healthcare, Dr. Patel specializes in cervical spine surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery.
