LURIE CANCER CENTER INVESTIGATORS RECOGNIZED ON 2023 'HIGHLY CITED' LIST

Chad Mirkin, PhD, and Jeffrey Sosman, MD, both oncologists at Northwestern Medicine and members of Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern Medicine, have been added to the prestigious roster of the 2023 'Highly Cited Researchers' list, recognizing their significant impact in their respective fields over the past decade.

Twelve Feinberg faculty members were named to the 2023 “Highly Cited Researchers” list, published by Clarivate Analytics. The annual list identifies investigators who have demonstrated significant influence in their field through the publication of highly cited publications during the last decade. 

The data in the list is pulled from papers published in science and social sciences journals from 2012 through 2022. The list includes those investigators who rank among the top one percent as the most cited for their subject field and year of publication.

“This year Feinberg was awarded record-breaking research funding and it’s great to see that the work of our faculty is having an impact,” said Rex Chisholm, PhD, vice dean for scientific affairs and graduate education and the Adam and Richard T. Lind Professor of Medical Genetics.
