The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) recognized the impact of several medical professionals, including Arthur M. Mandelin, MD, PhD, associate professor of Rheumatology at Northwestern Medicine, for their work in helping those with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Dr. Mandelin joins a diverse group of professionals honored for playing a crucial role in advancing the care, research and medical education needed to effectively manage and treat psoriatic disease. Specifically, Dr. Mandelin was awarded the NPF Health Professional Volunteer of the Year. According to the NPF, “This award recognizes a health care professional who has promoted NPF’s mission of improving the lives of people with psoriatic disease through exceptional contributions to the key initiatives of NPF.
