MICHAEL DONNAN, MD, RECEIVES YOUNG INVESTIGATOR GRANT TO STUDY PROTECTIVE MECHANISMS OF LYMPHANGIOGENESIS IN KIDNEY INJURY

Michael Donnan, MD, physician-scientist and assistant professor of Nephrology at Northwestern Medicine, has received a Young Investigator Grant from the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois to pursue research related to lymphatic vessels and the kidney. Using new experimental models and single cell RNA technology, Dr. Donnan is working to identify new therapeutic targets to stop kidney disease progression.
