NEGOTIAGE: AN AI-POWERED NEGOTIATION SOLUTION

Episode Summary

Lee Lindquist, MD, MPH, MBA, chief of Geriatrics at Northwestern Medicine, saw the need to resolve conflicts in the care of older adults. She has an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and used this background to create NegotiAge, an online platform that uses AI avatars to teach negotiation skills to family caregivers and family members.

​The platform aims to help resolve conflicts between family members, older adults and care professionals by teaching communication and conflict resolution using business school tactics. The platform is available online and is currently being tested.
