CLINICAL UPDATE: LOW GRADE GLIOMA

Featuring: Jessica W. Templer, MD
LISTEN TO PODCAST

Episode Summary

In this Better Edge podcast, Jessica W. Templer, MD, assistant professor of Neurology (Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology), discusses comprehensive care for tumor-related epilepsy through the new Low Grade Glioma Program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, part of the Lou and Jean Malnati Brain Tumor Institute of Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.

The program is led by Dr. Templer, Karan S. Dixit, MD, assistant professor of Neurology (Neuro-oncology) and Matthew C. Tate, MD, PhD, associate professor of Neurological Surgery and Neurology.

"Our ultimate goal is really to provide exceptional care to patients with low grade gliomas," says Dr. Templer. "And we can only do that with a better understanding of how this disease progresses, when we should intervene and when is the best time to change their treatment plans."
