ADVANCES IN GENITOURINARY RECONSTRUCTION COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

Northwestern Medicine Urology hosted a course on novel techniques and innovation in managing complex reconstructive challenges. The in-person event took place on October 8 and was led by course director Ziho Lee, MD. 
 
Highlights included:
  • Keynote presentations by Jill Buckley, MD, Daniel D. Eun, MD, and Lee Zhao, MD
  • Discussion of recent technology’s role in reconstruction, such as near-infrared fluorescence and transitioning from multi-port to single port
  • Discussion of the role of techniques to manage complex cases, such as reconstructive challenges in the upper tract and a review of cases submitted by the audience
