Ear, Nose and ThroatNorthwestern Medicine Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery has a long history of scientific excellence and innovative clinical care. The department is home to one of the largest programs in the country for management of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), caring for approximately 10,000 patients with CRS per year and performing more than 1,000 sinus surgeries per year. The department also encompasses a world-renowned Head and Neck Cancer program, combining comprehensive care and research to provide innovative treatments. The team specializes in a wide range of disorders, including hearing, balance, smell, taste, voice, sinus and nasal disorders, as well as sleep surgery, diagnosis of head and neck cancers, and reconstructive and plastic surgery.
