Misoprostol: The Essentials by Trimester of Pregnancy
Misoprostol…the obstetrician–gynecologist’s ubiquitous tool. Misoprostol plays important roles in the management of term labor, pregnancy loss, termination, and postpartum hemorrhage. The session provides a high-yield synopsis on common scenarios involving misoprostol in the first, second, and third trimesters. Session content emphasizes the evidence on dosing regimens for various indications, a common knowledge gap. This session is intended for informational purposes only. Electrosurgery for the Advanced Gynecologic Surgeon
Although electrosurgery is commonly used among all modes of surgery and surgical disciplines, there is a deficiency of basic knowledge of electrosurgical principles important for safe and effective surgical practice.
