FIRST ANNUAL ANATOMIC ENUCLEATION COURSE

The First Annual Anatomic Enucleation Course will take place August 21 – 22, 2026, in Chicago, IL. Co-directed by Amy E. Krambeck, MD, an internationally recognized leader in HoLEP surgery, and Ahmed E. Ghazi, MD, a pioneer in surgical simulation and procedural education, this inaugural course blends academic excellence with immersive, high-fidelity hydrogel training. Participants will engage in a rigorous, evidence-based curriculum designed to advance hands-on proficiency in anatomic enucleation techniques, with a focus on enucleation plane identification, energy management, morcellation and complication avoidance.

Key Features:
  • A deep dive into anatomical principles of enucleation, tailored lectures, and case‑based discussions on prostatic anatomy and surgical approaches.
  • Hands‑on simulation and technical demonstration sessions to refine operative skills relevant to modern enucleation techniques.
  • Sessions led by national leaders in endourology under the mentorship of Drs. Krambeck and Ghazi.

Target Audience:
Urology surgeons, residents, and fellows seeking advanced procedural exposure beyond standard CME programming. (Course details are continually being developed, link to program announcements or registration information will be added as it becomes available.)
