LEADING IN NIH FUNDING AND UROLOGY CARE

The Department of Urology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is proud to be ranked No. 1 in NIH funding in fiscal year 2024, generating over $7.1 million in NIH funding, supporting our mission to enhance urologic care and research. We are also honored to highlight that our program is home to the nation's leading urology principal investigator in funding, Sarki A. Abdulkadir, PhD, as well as Qi Cao, PhD, who ranks as the fourth highest-funded urology PI.*

“NIH funding allows us to accelerate and facilitate research to be translated to benefit patients, whether it’s in diagnostics, therapeutics or prevention.” – Sarki Abdulkadir, MD, PhD
