February 2025 CASE REPORT: SLING TREATMENT FOR PELVIC ORGAN PROLAPSE AND STRESS INCONTINENCEJennifer Miles-Thomas, MD, discusses the case of a woman who previously underwent a sling procedure and robotic sacrocolpopexy to treat pelvic organ prolapse and stress incontinence. She then experienced a recurrence of her prolapse, and it was discovered she had a stone and foreign body in her bladder. Dr. Miles-Thomas collaborated with the Urogynecology team at Northwestern Medicine to address these complications.
