RECURRENT HIGH-GRADE PROSTATE CANCER FOLLOWING RADIATION THERAPY

Ashley Ross, MD, PhD, presents a case involving a 74-year-old man with recurrent prostate cancer. After initial treatment with radiation and androgen deprivation therapy, rising PSA levels prompted further investigation using MRI and PET scans. The imaging revealed localized cancer in the seminal vesicles, which was confirmed by biopsy. Dr. Ross explains the advanced salvage seminal vesiculectomy procedure aimed at removing the affected tissue.
