June 2025 ANISHA DUA, MD, NAMED CHAIR OF ACR’S COMMITTEE ON TRAININGAnisha Dua, MD, has been appointed as the new chair of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR)’s Committee on Training (COT), a role that is pivotal in enhancing the educational framework for both adult and pediatric rheumatology trainees.
In her position, Dr. Dua aims to implement tangible changes that will benefit rheumatology trainees through innovative educational initiatives. She has a history of involvement with ACR and other organizations where she has contributed to the development of educational resources and training programs. Dr. Dua's goals for the COT include streamlining educational content, creating targeted learning opportunities and addressing the evolving needs of trainees in the wake of changes brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. With a focus on enhancing the voice of trainees and compiling resources for educators, she aims to ensure comprehensive support for those entering the field of rheumatology. |
