REHABILITATION

RENOVATED THERAPY SPACE BOOSTS CARE AND COLLABORATION

We’re excited to announce that major renovations of the outpatient therapy space at Northwestern Medicine Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital are now complete.

Designed to elevate patients’ experiences and clinical outcomes, the updated facility now features:
  • Expanded treatment areas for physical and occupational therapy for more personalized and efficient care
  • A redesigned simulation kitchen and laundry area that provides a realistic environment to practice essential daily living skills
  • More private rooms for speech therapy
  • A dedicated evaluation space for vestibular issues
  • Built-in standardized testing markers on the flooring and walking track
These enhancements reflect our commitment to providing state-of-the-art resources that support recovery and independence.

Beyond the physical upgrades, the renovation fosters a more collaborative environment for our therapy teams. Physical and occupational therapists now work side by side, sharing insights and learning from one another. This integrated approach strengthens teamwork and ultimately leads to better care for our patients, reinforcing our mission to deliver compassionate, comprehensive therapy services.
