LYNN M. YEE, MD, MPH, NAMED DIVISION CHIEF OF MATERNAL-FETAL MEDICINE AT NORTHWESTERN MEDICINE

​​​Featuring: Lynn M. Yee, MD, MPH​

Congratulations to Lynn M. Yee, MD, MPH, who has accepted the role of division chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Yee received her medical degree and Master of Public Health degree from Northwestern University, and she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco. She later completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.

As a tenured associate professor and the Thomas J. Watkins Memorial Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she leads the Yee Research Lab, dedicated to advancing the health of pregnant patients. She leads a large, multidisciplinary research program that spans clinical, public health and health services research focused on pregnancy and the postpartum period.
​
Her current research includes investigations into diabetes during pregnancy, postpartum and interconception health, and infectious diseases. In addition to her research leadership, Dr. Yee serves as the maternal-fetal medicine fellowship program director and has been a valued member of Northwestern Medicine since 2015.
