TRAINING TOMORROW’S NEUROSURGEONS AT NORTHWESTERN MEDICINE

Khizar Nandoliya, a medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, shares his innovative research on a novel implant designed to deliver localized chemotherapy for aggressive meningiomas. Sparked by interdisciplinary collaboration among Northwestern University’s world-class neurosurgeons, neuropathologists and engineers, the project aims to reduce tumor recurrence by targeting residual microscopic cells post-surgery.
