Join the Northwestern Medicine Neurology team for the 4th Annual Updates in Neurology CME Symposium, a one-day course discussing the full range of neurological conditions. Designed specifically for busy practitioners, this in-person symposium offers a concise yet comprehensive overview of the latest research, treatment methodologies and evaluation strategies in neurology. 

Fellowship-trained specialists will provide evidence-based overviews for the care and treatment of patients with a wide array of neurological disorders. Expert neurology subspecialists will cover the latest guidelines, clinical strategies, advances and treatments for outpatient and inpatient neurology.

Objectives
  1. Recognize and apply evidence-based treatments and guidelines for neurological care including headaches, multiple sclerosis, memory disorders, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuro-oncology, sleep disorders.
  2. Recognize and apply the fundamental basis and modalities of neurotherapeutics.
  3. Review current controversies in the care of patients with neurological diseases.
  4. Identify indications for use of newer medications and treatment modalities for neurological diseases.
  5. Develop strategies for diagnosing and treating complicated neurologic problems in the outpatient and inpatient settings.
