September 2026 1 OF 7 HD-PACT FELLOWSHIP AWARDS GRANTED TO NORTHWESTERN MEDICINE FELLOWEilrayna Gelyana, MD, fellow at Northwestern Medicine, has been selected as an HD-PACT Fellow, one of just seven recipients nationwide. The fellowship is supported by leading Huntington’s disease (HD) organizations, including the Huntington Study Group, CHDI Foundation, Huntington's Disease Society of America and Huntington's Disease Foundation.
The HD-PACT Fellowship Program was established to support the continued growth and sustainability of the HD clinical and research community. The award provides funding for research and clinical training in HD at Northwestern Medicine and is designed to help develop the next generation of HD clinical leaders. Through this fellowship, Dr. Gelyana will receive specialized training in HD care and research while contributing to efforts to expand access to expert care. The award also reflects Northwestern Medicine's continued commitment to advancing HD research, education and patient care through multidisciplinary training and innovation. |
