ENDOCRINOLOGY

INCOMING AND OUTGOING 2025 FELLOWS

Outgoing Fellows

Carolina Pessoa Mendes, MD
I am a physician from Brazil, where I completed medical school in the Amazon region. I went on to pursue an internal medicine residency at University of Connecticut and am currently finishing my endocrinology fellowship here at Northwestern University. I am passionate about the management of diabetes, obesity and cardiometabolic health. I am excited to begin my first attending role this summer in a rural community in Vermont. I will be making the move with my family, including my husband and our three-month-old baby boy.

Incoming Fellows

Yogitha Reddy Dadi, MD
I am honored to be joining the endocrinology fellowship at Northwestern University. I completed my internal medicine residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and received my medical degree from SVS Medical College in India.

My interest in endocrinology stems from personal experiences — growing up in a family affected by various endocrine disorders inspired a deep commitment to understanding and managing these complex conditions. I am particularly drawn to the opportunity to combine compassionate, long-term patient care with the evolving science of hormone-related disease.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy dancing, reading fiction and exploring new restaurants. I look forward to becoming a part of the Northwestern University community and connecting with alumni who share a passion for advancing the field of endocrinology.

Aiman Rehan, MD
Born in Pakistan and raised in Toronto, Canada, I’ve always had a love for the outdoors — whether it’s hiking through scenic trails, kayaking or just soaking in nature. When I’m not exploring, you’ll probably find me deep into a gripping crime podcast. I completed my internal medicine residency at University of Oklahoma and am now fully diving into my passion: a career in endocrinology. I'm driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives and stay at the forefront of this ever-evolving field.
