ORGAN TRANSPLANT

ACCELERATED SUCCESS PATHWAY IN RENAL TRANSPLANT (ASPIRE) PROGRAM

Northwestern Medicine has launched a kidney transplant referral process for more efficient intake. The ASPIRE program is designed to connect referred patients with a dedicated team to help them reach transplant evaluation faster.

Since its launch, the ASPIRE program has cut our average referral to evaluation time by more than 75%, compared to previous wait times.

How it Works
Once referred to our center, the referred patient will be contacted by the ASPIRE intake team within two business days. During the initial intake, our experts will evaluate patients for transplant eligibility and discuss next step.
